Roland Pozo has been an avid photographer since childhood, when he photographed people, landscapes, objects, animals, and whatever came across his viewfinder as an interesting shoot. His first camera was a Kodak Brownie point and shoot. It had disposable flash bulbs. In his late teens he progressed to 35mm SLR cameras, and took photography courses in community college.

Roland went on to graduate from Florida International University with a degree in business administration, major in accounting. With the advent of the digital revolution, personal computers, photo processing software and digital cameras, his passion took a new spin allowing him to apply what he had learned in the days of films and darkrooms.
